Bhagavatapurana 1.2.32

1.2.32

yathā hyavahito vahnirdāruṣvekaḥ svayoniṣu /
nāneva bhāti viśvātmā bhūteṣu ca tathā pumān //

32. Just as the one fire abides in various kinds of wood from which it becomes manifest, so does the Perfect Person, the all-pervading Atman, abide in created things (in living beings) and appear as many and different (as Kshetragna).
