janma guhyaṃ bhagavato ya etat prayato naraḥ /
sāyaṃ prātargṛṇan bhaktyā duḥkhagrāmādvimucyate //

29. Thus the birth (avatara) of the glorious Lord is a secret ; and so, the man who, morning and evening, having cleansed himself, devoutly sings (or reads this account), obtains release from this world of miseries.
