āvṛtya rodasī khaṃ ca vavṛdhāte 'rkavahnivat //
30. The flames of the two Brahmastras mingled together; surrounded by arrows they filled all the space between heaven and earth and grew into a conflagaration, as the fire and the sun do (during the Pralaya).
