Bhagavatapurana 10.1.48

10.1.48

mṛtyur buddhimatāpohyo yāvad buddhi-balodayam /
yady asau na nivarteta nāparādho 'sti dehinaḥ //

48. Every thoughtful person should to the utmost strength of his wisdom endeavour to escape Death. So long as dawns the power of his wisdom, so long should death be avioded by a wise person. If however it could not be averted, it is no fault of (his) (there is nothing to blame on his part).
