evaṃ māsaṃ vrataṃ ceruḥ kumāryaḥ kṛṣṇa-cetasaḥ /
bhadrakālīṃ samānarcur bhūyān nanda-sutaḥ patiḥ //
5. Thus for a month they observed the vow, and having set their mind and heart on Krishna they worshipped Bhadra Kali with the prayer that the son of Nanda might become their husband.
