jñatvājñātvā ca karmāṇi jano 'yam anutiṣṭhati /
viduṣaḥ karma-siddhiḥ syād yathā nāviduṣo bhavet //
6. "Men perform many acts with or without the knowledge of what they do; the full fruit of the act is reaped by him who understands it; but that is not possible for the ignorant.
