tasya tat karma vijñāya kṛṣṇaḥ śaraṇa-daḥ satām /
gopān nayantaṃ jagrāha vṛkaṃ harir ivaujasā //
30. Krishna, the protector of the righteous, perceived that work of the asura and seized him forcibly, while he was carrying away the Gopas, just as a lion seizes a wolf.
