tasmād rājñaḥ priyaṃ yūyaṃ vayaṃ ca karavāma he /
bhūtāni naḥ prasīdanti sarva-bhūta-mayo nṛpaḥ //
35. Therefore let us, both You and we, do what is desired by the king: thereby all beings will be pleased with us; for a king is the personification (embodiment) of all creatures.
