yāvatyaḥ sikatā bhūmer yāvatyo divi tārakāḥ /
yāvatyo varṣa-dhārāś ca tāvatīr adadaṃ sma gāḥ //
12. I gave to brahmins cows as many as there are particles of sand on the earth and as many as there are stars in the heavens and as many as there are drops of rain.
