10.66.41

cakraṃ ca viṣṇos tad-anupraviṣṭaṃ vārānasīṃ sāṭṭa-sabhālayāpaṇām /
sa-gopurāṭṭālaka-koṣṭha-saṅkulāṃ sa-kośa-hasty-aśva-rathānna-śālinīm //

And the discus of Viṣṇu entered Vārāṇasī behind it—with its watchtowers, assembly halls, residences, and marketplaces, / crowded with gateways, turrets, and storehouses, and filled with treasuries, elephants, horses, chariots, and grain.
