rudantaṃ sutam ādāya yaśodā graha-śaṅkitā /
kṛta-svastyayanaṃ vipraiḥ sūktaiḥ stanam apāyayat //

11. Yasoda took up her crying son and suspecting attack of some evil spirit, got the brahmins to repeat the vedic hymns and pronounce benedictions over Him and then suckled Him.
