ūcur avyavasita-matīn gopān gopīś ca bālakāḥ /
rudatānena pādena kṣiptam etan na saṃśayaḥ //

9. And the boys told the Gopas and Gopis who were at a loss to know the cause, “This was kicked by this crying child with its foot; do you not doubt it!”
