ṛṣīṇāṃ pitṛ-devānāṃ suhṛdām api naḥ prabho /
sarveṣām api bhūtānām īpsitaḥ kratu-rāḍ ayam //
8. 'And (the performance of) this kingly sacrifice is worth attempting not only in our behalf, but also in behalf of Rishis, Pitris, the gods, friends and all creatures, O king.
