athartvigbhyo 'dadāt kāle yathāmnātaṃ sa dakṣiṇāḥ /
sv-alaṅkṛtebhyo 'laṅkṛtya go-bhū-kanyā mahā-dhanāḥ //
52. Then in due time he gave to the priests dakshinas as laid down in the scriptures and on well-adorned brahmins, he bestowed cows, lands, girls and abundant wealth.
