evaṃ prakṛti-vaicitryād bhidyante matayo nṛṇām /
pāramparyeṇa keṣāñcit pāṣaṇḍa-matayo 'pare //

8. Thus according to difference in nature the thoughts and ideas of men differ from generation to generation; and there are also others who hold heretic views and have no faith in the Vedas.
