sa bhukta-bhogāṃ tyaktvemāṃ nirgatas tapasā harim /
upāsīnas tat-padavīṃ lebhe vai janṛnabhis tribhiḥ //

18. Bharata abandoned this earth after it was duly enjoyed and renouncing the kingdom he worshipped Hari by tapas and attained to His region in three lives.
