sattve pralīnāḥ svar yānti nara-lokaṃ rajo-layāḥ /
tamo-layās tu nirayaṃ yānti mām eva nirguṇāḥ //

22. Those that are withdrawn into Satva go to Svarga, those withdrawn into Rajas to the region of human beings, those into Tamas go to hell and those that are free from gunas go directly to Me.
