śata-varṣā hy anāvṛṣṭir bhaviṣyaty ulbaṇā bhuvi /
tat-kālopacitoṣṇārko lokāṃs trīn pratapiṣyati //
9. Then will be a century of rainless time of very severe character on the earth; the Sun with the heat enhanced by that Time will burn the three worlds.
