tatas tasmin mahā-pānaṃ papur maireyakaṃ madhu /
diṣṭa-vibhraṃśita-dhiyo yad-dravair bhraśyate matiḥ //
12. Then having lost their sense by force of Providence (the Lord), they there drank the superior beverage, a tasteful liquor called Maireyaka, under which the thinking faculty is completely lost.
