rāmaḥ samudra-velāyāṃ yogam āsthāya pauruṣam /
tatyāja lokaṃ mānuṣyaṃ saṃyojyātmānam ātmani //
26. On the sea shore Balarama sat in yogic contemplation of the Perfect Being and, having united himself to Atman, cast off the human world (human form).
