ity eṣa mānavo vaṃśo yathā saṅkhyāyate bhuvi /
tathā viṭ-śūdra-viprāṇāṃ tās tā jñeyā yuge yuge //
35. Thus the race of Manu on earth has been described; so also, in age after age, those of the Vaisyas, Sudras and Brahmins are to be known to be of similar conditions.
