kāma eṣa narendrāṇāṃ moghaḥ syād viduṣām api /
yena phenopame piṇḍe ye 'ti-viśrambhitā nṛpāḥ //
2. Nessarily fruitless is this desire of those kings who, as lords of men are aware of it, and still have great faith in the body which is transient like foam.
