yathā hemni sthito vahnir durvarṇaṃ hanti dhātu-jam /
evam ātma-gato viṣṇur yoginām aśubhāśayam //
47. Just as fire applied to gold removes the metallic alloy in it, so also Vishnu, present in the mind of Yogins, destroys the evil resting in it.
