pailāya saṃhitām ādyāṃ bahvṛcākhyāṃ uvāca ha /
vaiśampāyana-saṃjñāya nigadākhyaṃ yajur-gaṇam //
52. He gave the first collection of the Rigveda to sage Paila;
and to Vaisampayana the collection of Yajurveda which is also called Nigada or Prose.
