avyākṛta-guṇa-kṣobhān mahatas tri-vṛto 'hamaḥ /
bhūta-sūkṣmendriyārthānāṃ sambhavaḥ sarga ucyate //
11. The creation of *principles* is said to consist in producing the subtle Bhutas, the sense organs and their objects and their presiding gods, out of the agitated gunas of Prakriti, the Mahattatva, and the three-fold Ahankara.
