brahmann idaṃ samākhyātaṃ śākhā-praṇayanaṃ muneḥ /
śiṣya-śiṣya-praśiṣyāṇāṃ brahma-tejo-vivardhanam //
25. O venerable Brahmin, this account has been given of the sage's (Sri Vyasa's) arranging the Vedas and of His disciples and their lines and it promotes the glory of Brahman (in faithful listeners).
