tasmin pṛthivyāḥ kakudi prarūḍhaṃ vaṭaṃ ca tat-parṇa-puṭe śayānam /
tokaṃ ca tat-prema-sudhā-smitena nirīkṣito 'pāṅga-nirīkṣaṇena //
31. There again he saw the banyan growing on the summit of the earth and the child that was lying on one of its leaves and found himself made the object of side-long glances and the loving nectarlike smiles of the child.
