/0 śaunaka uvāca
yadāha no bhavān sūta kṣattā bhāgavatottamaḥ /
cacāra tīrthāni bhuvastyaktvā bandhūn sudustyajān //

48. Saunaka said :— "O Suta, you told us that Vidura the most devout *bhakta* of the Lord, went to sacred waters and holy places having separated himself from his kinsmen who cannot be so abandoned.
