evam etan nigaditaṃ pṛṣṭavān yadbhavān mama /
nṛṇāṃ yan mriyamāṇānāṃ manuṣyeṣu manīṣiṇām //

1. This (course of study, reasoning, etc., regarding Hari) is thus described (in the sastras)—this course about which you asked me, for the sake of those that are thoughtful among men, (especially) of those that are dying (nearing death).
