2.5.35

sa eva puruṣastasmādaṇḍaṃ nirbhidya nirgataḥ /
sahasrorvaṅghribāhvakṣaḥ sahasrānanaśīrṣavān //

35. And then bursting open (the mundane egg), issued therefrom the Supreme Himself as Purusha with a thousand thighs, (a thousand) legs, (a thousand) arms, (a thousand) eyes, (a thousand) faces and (a thousand) heads.
