2.6.45

prādhānyato yān ṛṣa āmananti līlāvatārān puruṣasya bhūmnaḥ /
āpīyatāṃ karṇakaṣāyaśoṣān anukramiṣye ta imān supeśān //

45. O sage (Rishi), listen to my accounts of the blessed Avataras of that Perfect Purusha, of those which are considered His chief Lila-avataras (by Rishis) and which (when heard) dry up the defects in the ears. I shall proceed to relate to you these most fascinating accounts.
