bahurūpa ivābhāti māyayā bahurūpayā /
ramamāṇo guṇeṣvasyā mamāham iti manyate //
2. Atman seems to be of many forms in association with _Maya_ of many forms, as he sports fascinated with her gunas, with the bodies and other conditions instituted by _Maya_ and he (Atman thus conditioned) thinks, (_i. e._, entertains the notions) of "_I and Mine._"
