evaṃ-vidhair aho-rātraiḥ kāla-gatyopalakṣitaiḥ /
apakṣitam ivāsyāpi paramāyur vayaḥ-śatam //
32. Thus with the lapse of days and nights indicated by the course of Time, even the full lease of his (Brahma's) life viz, the period of a hundred years, is, as it were, wasted away (seems to be soon spent).
