pūrvasyādau parārdhasya brāhmo nāma mahān abhūt /
kalpo yatrābhavad brahmā śabda-brahmeti yaṃ viduḥ //
34. In the beginning of the first half there was a great kalpa called Brahma-kalpa, when Brahma was born, whom the wise call Sabda-Brahma.
