tad āhur akṣaraṃ brahma sarva-kāraṇa-kāraṇam /
viṣṇor dhāma paraṃ sākṣāt puruṣasya mahātmanaḥ //
41. The wise say that Brahman, the cause of all causes, is called Akshara. It is the only essence, the supreme essence of Vishnu, the Glorious and Supreme Purusha.
