karāla-daṃṣṭraś cakṣurbhyāṃ sañcakṣāṇo dahann iva /
abhiplutya sva-gadayā hato 'sīty āhanad dharim //

8. The enemy having fearful tusks looked at Him with his fierce eyes as if he would burn Him, sprang at Him, and aimed a blow with his Gada saying "Thou art killed."
