sasarja cchāyayāvidyāṃ pañca-parvāṇam agrataḥ /
tāmisram andha-tāmisraṃ tamo moho mahā-tamaḥ //

18. He first created Avidya of five degrees by means of (out of) shadow, (darkness the opposite of Light), namely, Tamisra Andha-Tamisra, Tamas, Moha, and Maha-Tamas.
