jñānaṃ niḥśreyasārthāya puruṣasyātma-darśanam /
yad āhur varṇaye tat te hṛdaya-granthi-bhedanam //

2. And I will expound to thee that knowledge which, the wise say, by revealing the Atman tends towards the purpose viz., the highest good (Moksha), and which cuts the knot (of Ahankara) at the heart.
