tatra snātvā pit-n devān ṛṣīṃś caiva tad-ambhasā /
tarpayitvātha viprebhyo gāvo bahu-guṇā daduḥ //
26. There they bathed, poured libations to the Gods, the Pitris, and Rishis, with the water of the sacred place, and then bestowed upon Brahmins, cows of many excellent qualities.
