kuṭumba-bharaṇākalpo manda-bhāgyo vṛthodyamaḥ /
śriyā vihīnaḥ kṛpaṇo dhyāyan chvasiti mūḍha-dhīḥ //

12. Unable to maintain his family, with the future frowning upon him, with his efforts rendered futile and deprived of his wealth, the distressed man sighs thinking over his condition in his clouded mind.[*]
