yathā mahān ahaṃ-rūpas tri-vṛt pañca-vidhaḥ svarāṭ /
ekādaśa-vidhas tasya vapur aṇḍaṃ jagad yataḥ //

Just as the mahat became the ego, threefold, fivefold, independent, / elevenfold—its body being the cosmic egg, whence the universe arose;
