3.32.34_2

kriyayā kratubhir dānais tapaḥ-svādhyāya-marśanaiḥ /
ātmendriya-jayenāpi sannyāsena ca karmaṇām //

34. By means of righteous works such as the construction of a tank, by means of yagas (sacrifices), by charitable gifts, by Tapas (austerities), by the study of the Vedas and Mimamsas; by controlling the mind and the Indriyas (senses and organs) and by renouncing Karmas;
