māṇḍavya-śāpād bhagavān prajā-saṃyamano yamaḥ /
bhrātuḥ kṣetre bhujiṣyāyāṃ jātaḥ satyavatī-sutāt //
20. You are the powerful God Yama, the punisher of all beings ; and you were born of a maid-servant who became the wife of his (step) by Vyasa, brother, the son of Satyavati.
