ākūtiṃ rucaye prādād api bhrātṛmatīṃ nṛpaḥ /
putrikā-dharmam āśritya śatarūpānumoditaḥ //

2. The king gave Ākūti to Ruchi and, though she had a brother (though the king had a son), made (her promise to observe) the Putrikā Dharma, with the consent of Satarūpā. [The Putrikā Dharma is that the daughter should give her son in adoption to her father.]
