4.1.45

mārkaṇḍeyo mṛkaṇḍasya prāṇād vedaśirā muniḥ /
kaviś ca bhārgavo yasya bhagavān uśanā sutaḥ //

45. Mārkandeya was the son of Mṛkanda; and the sage Vēdasiras was born of Prāṇa; there was also Kavi another son

of Bhrigu; and the son of this Kavi is the famous and worshipful Śukrāchārya.
