āninye sva-gṛhaṃ putryāḥ putraṃ vitata-rociṣam /
svāyambhuvo mudā yukto rucir jagrāha dakṣiṇām //

5. Swāyambhuva Manu brought to his home his daughter's son of boundless splendour and thereby felt highly rejoiced; (and) Ruchi (too) gladly accepted Dakshinā (for his portion).
