tebhyo 'gnayaḥ samabhavan catvāriṃśac ca pañca ca /
ta evaikonapañcāśat sākaṃ pitṛ-pitāmahaiḥ //
61. And from these have descended forty-five Agnis or fires; and they make forty-nine, together with their three fathers (Pāvaka etc.) one grand-father.
