eṣa bhūtāni bhūtātmā bhūteśo bhūta-bhāvanaḥ /
sva-śaktyā māyayā yuktaḥ sṛjaty atti ca pāti ca //

26. He is all the creatures, their soul, their ruler, their creator and protector; (for) associated with Māyā which is His own power, He creates, protects and devours it.
