Bhagavatapurana 4.13.46

4.13.46

kad-apatyaṃ varaṃ manye sad-apatyāc chucāṃ padāt /
nirvidyeta gṛhān martyo yat-kleśa-nivahā gṛhāḥ //

46. Or I think that a wicked son is preferable to a good son who is the source of many sorrows; for the mortal man might come to renounce the house, (when) full of troubles on account of a bad son.
