tad dṛṣṭvā mithunaṃ jātam ṛṣayo brahma-vādinaḥ /
ūcuḥ parama-santuṣṭā viditvā bhagavat-kalām //
2. On the birth of the two, the Rishis ever devoted to the recitation of Vedas were very much gratified to perceive that Prithu was an Amsa of the glorious Lord and said.
